A Note from our School Council Chair
Our first School Council meeting was held on Tuesday Sept. 22. At this meeting the Executive and Committee Co-Chairs were selected. The 2015/2016 School Council Executive is listed below.
If you did not have a chance to attend our first meeting, please come to the next meeting on Tuesday Oct.13 School Council meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month in the Parkview library. All parents are encouraged to attend. You can drop into one meeting at your convenience or, if you are able to commit to attending the monthly meetings, you can join School Council as a voting member. We are always happy to see new faces and meet parents new to the school. All meetings start at 6:45pm: 15 minutes is set aside for a social meet and greet. The meetings run promptly from 7:00-8:30pm.
The Committees listed below encompass areas of interest and projects that have been successful in the past. If you have any new ideas or suggestions, we would love to hear from you. You can reach School Council at email@example.com or at (905) 477-2172, ext.4.

Being on Time for School
Between 8:15am and 8:30am our staff are ready to receive students at school. Although students are not permitted inside the building, they are welcome to play with friends in their grade appropriate areas. Getting to school early is an excellent routine to ensure students are always on time for class and ready to learn. If your child comes after 8:30, all exterior doors will be locked including the kindergarten classes. Please come to the front office for a late slip. This rule helps preserve instruction time and also helps us keep our students safe and accounted for.
ETFO Job Action Update to Parents

Cancellation of Curriculum Night
Due to the current job action, we regret to inform you that we are unable to conduct our yearly curriculum night. Please see the attached notice for details (PDF).
