Parkview Snack Program Returns!
With great appreciation we would like to thank Ms. Zerczi and Mr. Yam of our healthy snack parent team for organizing and leading the work in getting the program up and running. We strive to provide nutritious snacks for students who find their lunch bags empty and bellies still not full. A little bit of food goes along way to support learning. A special thank you to Mr. Yam for donating our first batch of snacks to our school!
Northern Karate Lunch Program
Parkview is very pleased to welcome back Northern Karate for the second year. This optional lunch time martial arts program is designed to introduce students to the benefits of martial arts training. Students participate in classes taught by professional Northern Karate instructors at our school during the lunch hour. There will be a free demonstration class held at the school on Wednesday November 4. It is open to all students who are interested in giving it a try. More information on this program will be distributed to students this week. A portion of the funds generated from this program will be put towards school initiatives through the School Council Fundraising Committee. Thank you to Ms. Wideman for connecting Parkview with this amazing program.
