Hello and Goodbye!
This Thursday January 14 we will see some changes in our staff at Parkview.

Ms. Briare Sinclair will be leaving us to pursue new teaching opportunities closer to home with the Halton District School Board, and Ms. Aarti Prasad will be our new grade one teacher. As Ms. Prasad is currently teaching  in a temporary position in Ms. Dunnigan’s grade 4/5 class, Mr. Kyle Gulab, who is a frequent supply teacher at Parkview will be covering our grade 4/5 class until Ms. Dunnigan returns from her Maternity Leave on February 9. Please join us in welcoming Ms. Prasad and Mr. Gulab to their new positions.

We will miss Ms. Sinclair, we thank her for her exemplary service and work with our students and wish her all the best moving forward with her career!

Also on Thursday January 14, Ms. Cindy Yeung will be starting her maternity leave. We wish her all the best with the newest addition to the Yeung family.  Ms. Christine Tsujimoto will assume responsibility for Ms. Yeung’s grade 1/2 class, Ms. Tsujimoto has taught most recently at Boxwood PS.  We are looking forward to welcoming Ms. Tsujimoto to the Parkview family!

Kindergarten Registration to Commence January 15, 2016
Kindergarten registration will commence on January 15, 2016 for the 2016-17 school year. Registration forms are available on YRDSB’s website: www.yrdsb.ca. Children who turn four or five years old during 2016, live within the school boundary and whose parents are public school tax supporters will be eligible to register for kindergarten. A kindergarten information session for parents is being planned for this spring. For more information please visit the YRDSB website or contact your local school.

Lake St. George: Grade 7 Overnight Trip
Mr. Suleiman and Mr. Trivelli’s grade 7 students will have the opportunity to attend Lake St. George From February 24^th to 25^th.  There will be a parent information session on Tuesday February 19 at 6:00pm in the library.
