Getting ready for Next Yearshutterstock_131767742
It is that time of the year again… the planning for next year has
begun which includes the consideration of student class assignments. In May, our teachers spend a fair amount of time making carefully considered decisions regarding
appropriate class placements for our students. We
realize that parental input can be valuable to this process too.

To that end, we would ask that any requests regarding student placements be descriptive in nature. Please describe your child’s learning style and describe any learning environment that you feel would suit your child best. Requests for specific teaches will not be considered. This information should be emailed to Lisa Dilworth at lisa.dilworth@yrdsb.ca on or before May 1, 2016. Student placement meetings will be occurring the first week of May so unfortunately, late requests cannot be accepted.

SPRING CLEAN OUT TIME!!Untitled

“Bag2School” collects clothes, linens, towels, fabrics etc for recycling. Start cleaning out your closets and get ready to donate these items!
“Recycle Electronics” collects TV’s, DVD & VCR players, computers, monitors, stereos & speakers, phones, batteries, printers, copiers, etc.
Both of these programs give money to the school based on the total weight we collect. Start looking around for items you can donate!
