EARTH DAY – PARKVIEW RECYCLES – THIS WEEK!!

All recycling events to celebrate Earth Day take place this week!  Join us!!

BAG2SCHOOL – This is the week to donate used clothing, belts, shoes, boots, purses, bedding, towels, stuffed animals, and textiles. Any large bags can be used. Drop off your bags to the school between April 18-21.

RECYCLE ELECTRONICS – Do you have old key boards, cables, TV’s, speakers, printers, VCR’s, DVD players, monitors, photo copiers, ink & toner cartridges etc? Does your office or business have anything that needs to be recycled? Bring them to Parkview this Saturday April 22 between 9:00-12:00. The more you bring the more money the school raises! The more space you will have too!

BATTERIES – Used batteries are being collected in the school lobby until April 21. They can be dropped off Sat April 22 also.

BOTTLES – In support of the Grade 8 Graduation, the parent grad committee will be collecting empty wine/beer/cooler bottles, beer/cooler cans and tetra packs on April 22 in the school parking lot from 9:00-12:00. Thanks for your support!

A fond farewell to Ms. Dunnigan

Ms. Dunnigan has secured a position in the Halton Region District School Board as a teacher. This position is much closer to home for her and we congratulate her in her new position. We thank Ms. Dunnigan for all of her hard work with the students and families of Parkview and we wish her and her family the very best going forward.  Starting on Tuesday, Ms. Bolton will be filling in for Ms. Dunnigan for two weeks, until we are able to hire a teacher to fill the position of ELL teacher at Parkview until the end of June.

Lost and Found check this week

Tables will be set up in the front foyer this week for students and parents to claim lost items.  Any items left at the end of the week will be donated.  Thanks!
