Silent Auction Details:
Bidding is restricted to adults only. Students are NOT allowed to submit a bid.
There will be a minimum starting bid for each lot, as well as, minimum incremental bidding requirements.
The person who submits the highest bid for a lot by 6:15pm on June 7th, when the auction closes, will be the recipient of the item.
Auction items must be picked up at the end of the BBQ. If that is not possible, please be sure to collect your items by 3:00 pm Friday June 9th the latest from the school office.
Payment for lots can be made by cash or cheque.

Moving towards the digital age: Agendas Optional
With much discussion and consideration, Parkview is making the much needed move towards more intuitive ways of communication. Our teachers and the office are relying heavily on digital communication and are finding the paper agenda at times redundant and ineffective. We recognize that some families will still prefer to have an agenda as they transition therefore, we will have agenda planners available for purchase on School Cash Online.
Agenda planners are now on sale for $5.00 the next school year 2017-2018 on Schoolcash until JUNE 9th. They are optional but available for students in Grades 1 to 8. If you wish to purchase one for your child for next year, please go to the School Website and click on the Schoolcash tool. We will hand out agendas to those who order within the first week of school.
If you have not registered your child on Schoolcash, you will need your child’s Student ID # before going on the school’s website. If you do not know your child’s ID #, you can call the school secretary at 905-477-2172.
Thursday, June 29, 2017 Early Dismissal (11:30 a.m.) in Elementary Schools
All schools in the York Region District School Board are committed to improving student achievement and well-being. On Thursday, June 29, 2017, an early release day will take place to allow elementary teachers and support staff to take part in meetings during the afternoon of that day. These meetings will allow for school staff to engage in culminating activities regarding the review and revision of the School’s Improvement Plan as well as year-end and transition activities that support student success.
As has been our practice in the past, students will attend school during the morning of Thursday, June 29, 2017 only. Students will be dismissed early that day at 11:30 a.m. Arrangements will be made to ensure that students who are normally bused to and from school will receive transportation at this time. Parents/guardians whose children attend after school child care should make appropriate arrangements to address this change in schedule.
