Chapters FUNdraiser Event – Please join us for our School Council Fundraiser. It will take place at Chapters on November 15th, 2017 from 6-9pm. 15% of the total proceeds will go back to our Parkview students for learning materials. We look forward to seeing you there!

For this year, aside from Kindergarten, classes do not have a set day that their whole class will come down to the library. The library is open for “open exchange” twice a day. Most days, the library is open for “open exchange” from 8:30 to 8:50, and again at 1:20 – 1:50. Each class can choose to send 4-5 students to the library during the open exchange times. This way, students that would like to select more books each week than on their assigned day they are able to. Grade 1 and 2 students received a library bag to help to keep their library books organized and safe from food and drinks in their backpacks. Please try your best to remind your student to keep their books in this bag, if they have one. When students visit the library, they may choose up to 3 books. In some cases (projects, etc,)  students will be allowed to sign out extra books on a case by case basis. Students are encouraged to visit the library regularly and to enjoy these books at school and at home and to return them in a timely manner (the system sees a book as overdue after 2 weeks). There are no late fees for overdue books; however, if your child loses or damages a book, a notice will be sent home, and your child will be asked to pay to replace the resource or they may also choose to donate a book(s) of equal value to replace the lost resource.
