Invest in Students’ Education 2017 – 2018: Parkview P.S. continues to be committed to providing students with a strong and well-rounded education. With this in mind, the School Council also endeavours to raise funds to provide a wide variety of educational experiences and tools for our children. Based on the student population and a needs assessment completed with administration and staff, we would like to raise $13,000 to support our students’ education. 100% of funds raised go directly to our students. Donations of $25 or more are fully tax-deductible and receipts will be provided. Please check your email this week for details.

We would like to remind all of our families that our goal is to work together to support the well-being of all our students. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns. We look forward to working in partnership with our Parkview Community.

A gentle reminder to our families that we ask that our students please refrain from bringing any toys, or non-educational items (especially BeyBlades), to school. We want to ensure that our students are focused and safe during their time with us at Parkview. Our staff will continue having these discussions with our students as well.

A reminder that interviews are for Y2 (SK) Kindergarten students (not Y1 (JK) families – as you recently came in for observations) through to our grade 8 families.

Chapters FUNdraiser Event – We would like to THANK all of the Parkview families that came out to Chapters. We raised a lot of money for the school and enjoyed a nice time together as a community. We look forward to more events together where we can enjoy each other’s company as a community as well as raise funds to support our school and students.

Note to all grade 8 families – we will be hosting a Parent Information Session on the overnight trip to Muskoka on November 27th @ 6:30pm in the Learning Commons.
