Parkview will be hosting a Parent Tea on March 28th, 2018 from 9am -10am. Come learn about how technology can be used to support learning at home. You will have the opportunity to explore the various apps and programs used at school. The session will also focus on how to monitor effective use at home in order to ensure internet safety. If you plan to attend or require a translator please email the school. Parents, guardians and caregivers are welcome to attend!

Junior Movie Night (grades 4, 5, 6), hosted by School Council,  will be held on March 29th. We will be featuring the movie Wonder with doors opening @ 6:00pm and the movie beginning promptly @ 6:30pm. See you there!

Our spirit day for the Month of March will be on Thursday, March 29th. To welcome Spring and hopefully warmer weather, we will be having our annual Hawaiian/Beach Day. Students and Staff are invited to wear grass skirts, flower leis, sunglasses and sunhats, and other clothing that reminds us of summer and chilling on the beach.  Please be reminded that we have a dress code at Parkview and all clothing should be school appropriate and students are reminded to ensure they have clothing that will be appropriate to be outside for our recess time. The social cabinet will be selling nut free, dairy free, 100% fruit juice icy treats on Thursday. Classes will be called down to the foyer throughout the morning to purchase their frozen treat.  The treats are $1.00 each. The flavors are: Strawberry Pomegranate, Orange Pineapple, Wild Cherry, and Berry Lemon Twist. For this week only, regular treat sales will be rescheduled. Primary (K-3) treat sales will be on Tuesday at first recess and Junior/Intermediate (4-8) treat sales will be on Wednesday.

A gentle reminder to our families that we ask that our students please refrain from bringing any toys, cards or non-educational items to school. We want to ensure that our students are focused and safe during their time with us at Parkview. Our staff will continue having these discussions with our students as well.
