Winter Holiday begins Monday, December 24th and continues for two weeks. We look forward to welcoming our Panthers back on Monday, January 7th… 2019!

Parkview Difference Makers are working with a Youth Ambassador from 360 Kids in order to support homeless youth in York Region. Please help us make a positive difference in our community by dropping off the following items between Dec. 10th- Dec. 20th: Toothbrushes / Toothpaste / Socks / Floss / Kleenex / Shampoo and Conditioner / Body Wash / Lip Balm / Deodorant / Hairbrush or Comb

SAFETY REMINDERS In order to ensure student safety, we are reminding parents / guardians that students cannot be dropped off to school earlier than 8:15am, as there is NO supervision before 8:15am. Students are also reminded that they must go home right at dismissal time. Parents / guardians must inform the office & classroom teacher, if there are any changes in dismissal routines. Please do not park in the staff parking lot, particularly during entry and dismissal times. This will help support student safety.

School bus service may be cancelled due to inclement weather, extreme temperatures and/or poor road conditions. In these cases, parents and students should develop alternate care / transportation arrangements. A bus cancellation message will be available at School Bus City, by calling 1-877-330-3001, or by following @YRDSB on Twitter. On an inclement weather day when buses are cancelled, the delivery of school lunches (Pizza, Pasta and Subs) will be canceled and rescheduled for another day. Students will need to bring a lunch on those days.
