Thank you to council for supporting Bike Safety with Station Ski and Ride. They were informative, friendly and professional. We would also like to thank our families that donated bikes as they will be redistributed to those in need.

School Council will be hosting our second Chapters evening on June 18th. Mark your calendars! More details to come.

Parkview’s Welcome to Kindergarten event was a big success. It was nice meeting our youngest Panthers. We are excited to welcome them to Parkview in September.

A MESSAGE FROM SCHOOL COUNCIL – Did you know that our annual Parkview Bake Sale raises over $600 a year? This would not be possible without the generous support of our Parkview parents, children and grandparents who bake delicious nut free treats every year. We are looking for bakers to provide cupcakes, cookies, muffins, pies, tarts, squares, brownies, rice krispy treats, cake pops or any other family favourite that you love to bake! Please email Henna Alvi at parkviewbbqbake@gmail.com if you can kindly volunteer to bake for this special event. All items should be dropped off in the lobby on the morning of June 6th. Ingredients used must be provided. All baked goods, MUST BE NUT FREE. Students can purchase baked goods with parent permission. Please label any containers that you wish to have returned. Thank you in advance for your time and generosity to make this event such a special day for our Parkview families!

Safety Reminders: (1) Students should not arrive at school earlier then 8:15am as teacher supervision begins at 8:15am. (2) Any changes to end of day dismissal must be provided to the office and classroom teacher in writing. (3) The school parking lot is for staff members only. In order to ensure safety of students, we ask that you please refrain from parking in this lot. (4) Please do not sent any nut products to school, for snack or lunch, as we strive to be a nut-safe environment.

We encourage all families to take some time to review the code of conduct, dress code and technology agreements as outlined in the Parkview Start-up Package.

A gentle reminder to any families that will be transferring to the French Immersion program, or moving out of the area, to please notify the office as soon as possible. Thank you.
