Thank you to our many families that joined us for our Amazing Race Math Night! What a great success… lots of learning and lots of fun! Special appreciation to our staff for the planning and organizing of a great evening.
EQAO will begin this week for our grade 3 and 6 students. We would like to remind our families of the importance of getting a good night’s rest and eating breakfast in the morning. We ask that parents try to avoid any appointments in this coming week so as not to miss any of the assessments. Thank you.
A cautionary note to all families – on Monday and Tuesday of this week, the City of Markham will be rebuilding the gate between our parking lot and the main street parking. There will be a construction fence and City of Markham staff appointed to support safety. As a school, we will also have additional staff in that area to support student safety. The access to the school from that area will be closed, and therefore those of you that normally walk through there will need to find an alternate route. We ask all of our families to exercise caution in this area as the construction is happening.
Our Intermediate students are hosting the Water Docs Film Festival on May 30th. We look forward to welcoming our Intermediate families, members of our community and board, as well as director Kai Reimer Watts.
