Reminder to all Parkview families that Monday, June 3rd is a PA Day. There is no school for students.

Parkview School Council’s Annual BBQ will take place this Thursday, June 6th, from 3:15-6:00pm. Just a reminder that all children must be accompanied by a parent/guardian at all times since supervision will not be provided. If you plan to pick up your child after school in order to attend the BBQ at 3:15pm please inform your child’s classroom teacher in writing by June 4th so that they are aware of any dismissal changes. If your child’s classroom teacher does not receive this information, then your child will be dismissed as usual (i.e. bus, daycare etc). Also, pets are not permitted on school property. Videos or pictures cannot be taken or posted on social media. Students may participate in activities and purchase baked goods with parental permission (a red permission wristband will be provided for inflatables, carnivals, button making). We look forward to seeing all of our Panthers for an afternoon of fun and laughter.

Thank you to our intermediate families that joined us for our Water Docs Film Festival. What a great way to celebrate the environment, the work of our students and to learn from an established Director. Thank you to our staff for organizing this great event!

EQAO went smoothly for our grade 3 and 6 students. Thank you to our parents / guardians for your support.

School Council will be hosting our second Chapters evening on June 18th. Mark your calendars! More details to come.

Safety Reminders: (1) Students should not arrive at school earlier then 8:15am as teacher supervision begins at 8:15am. (2) Any changes to end of day dismissal must be provided to the office and classroom teacher in writing. (3) The school parking lot is for staff members only. In order to ensure safety of students, we ask that you please refrain from parking in this lot. (4) Please do not sent any nut products to school, for snack or lunch, as we strive to be a nut-safe environment.

To support the transition to High School, Ms. McGuire will be available, by appointment only, on Day 5s from 8:30am – 9:10am. Please contact the office to book an appointment.
