Thank you so much to the many members of our Proud Parkview Community that joined us for the annual School Council BBQ Fun Fair. The sun was shining, the kids were laughing and the parents were smiling… what more could we ask for! A huge Thank You to the many members of our School Council that organized such a wonderful community event for us. A huge Thank You to the many parent volunteers that helped on the night of. And a huge Thank You to the many staff that spent their evening with us.

Area Track and Field has been rescheduled to Wednesday, June 12th.

School Council will be hosting our second Chapters evening on June 18th. Mark your calendars!

On behalf of Mrs. Vikse, as our Teacher Librarian – As we near the end of the school year the Parkview Library books need to be returned and organized for September. Please take a moment to look around your houses, and bookshelves for any library books that may belong to the Parkview Library. All library books must be returned by Friday, June 14th. After this date, Mrs. Vikse will be printing overdue notices and sending them home with Parkview students. If you receive a notice that you have an overdue library book, you can choose to pay for the lost book(s) or you may also donate a book(s) of equivalent value. Thank you!

On behalf of Parkview staff and students, we would like to invite any parents / guardians that have volunteered at the school this year, to join us for our Volunteer Appreciation Tea. Our Appreciation Tea will be held in the Learning Commons on Tuesday, June 11 @ 10:00am. We look forward to seeing you there!

Reminder to all Parkview families that Thursday, June 27th is an early dismissal time scheduled for 11:30am. Busing will be available as always. June 28th is a PA Day and there is no school for students.

Parkview graduation is scheduled for June 24th. We are proud of our graduates and with them the best as they begin their next chapter.

Administrative moves for September: Thank you to our amazing VP for supporting the Parkview community for these past two years. Ms. Osman will be moving to Beckett Farm PS for 2019-2020 school year. We welcome Ms. Frolic who will join our Parkview community in September.

Safety Reminders: (1) Students should not arrive at school earlier then 8:15am as teacher supervision begins at 8:15am. (2) Any changes to end of day dismissal must be provided to the office and classroom teacher in writing. (3) The school parking lot is for staff members only. In order to ensure safety of students, we ask that you please refrain from parking in this lot. (4) Please do not sent any nut products to school, for snack or lunch, as we strive to be a nut-safe environment.

To support the transition to High School, Ms. McGuire will be available, by appointment only, on Day 5s from 8:30am – 9:10am. Please contact the office to book an appointment.
