Thank you to our families for your continued support and understanding this year. Thank you to our dedicated Parkview staff for all their hard work during these unprecedented times. Thank you to our students for demonstrating flexibility, resiliency and a positive attitude. We would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing Spring Break.
During the break, please continue to public health measures during this critical point in the pandemic, the following reminders are crucial to help prevent and limit the spread of COVID-19:
- Socialize with your own household
- Stay home and get tested if you feel ill
- Participate in the targeted testing offered by your school board
- Screen every day, including during spring break, for COVID-19 symptoms before attending child care (the COVID-19 School and Child Care Screening Tool is available to assist families with symptom screening)
- Practice good hand hygiene habits, masking, and physical distancing
- Refer to Ontario.ca/covidresponse to learn what public health measures are in place in our community
- Refrain from travelling
On April 19th, 2021 elementary school students will continue to be required to complete the COVID-19 School and Child-Care Screening Tool before attending school. By sending your child to school, you are confirming that you or your child have completed the screening tool and can attend. Parkview staff will be reinforcing the need for students to complete the self-assessment upon their return to school on Monday, April 19 and the office will continue to follow up on all absences.
Keeping Parkview safe is a shared responsibility, it is important that parents/guardians and caregivers screen their children prior to sending them to school. We would like to thank our Panther family for your continued support in keeping Parkview safe.

Nurturing Your Child’s Emotional Well Being’ Workshop for Parkview Families- April 22, 2021
Thank you to our School Council for completing and submitting our PROGrant Application. The workshop that we will be hosting for families will take place on April 22, 2021 from 5:30-6:30pm. The session will focus on ‘Nurturing Your Child’s Emotional Well Being.’ All families who are interested in attending should RSVP here.
