A Message from Administration
It is hard to believe that the 2021-22 school year is coming to an end. Although this was a challenging year with a new hybrid model of learning, it was so wonderful to have all our Panthers back together as a school community. The pandemic has reminded us how important relationships and strong community connections are. We have continued to support each other by demonstrating skills such as perseverance, resiliency and optimism. We have seen how connected we are as a global world and that each individual action has an impact. Together we can make the world a better place by caring about others. As a school, we would like to thank our students for all their hard work and positive attitude. We would also like to thank our Parkview families for your ongoing support and understanding. With the easing of restrictions, our children have enjoyed extra things such as Primary Playday, Junior Field Day, Intermediate Electives, Fitness Fridays, Kindergarten Play Day, Jump Rope for Heart, Hot Lunches, Freezie Fridays, Community Walks, Student Grad Planning Committee, Grade 8 Grad trip etc. It has warmed our hearts to see how happy our students have been to have some extra curricular activities return. We hope that the fall brings back all things that have been missed or taken for granted pre-pandemic. Thank you to our staff for taking time out of their busy days to plan and organize activities in order to ensure that our students have experiences that support their academics and well-being.
Congratulations to our Grade 8 Graduates! We are proud to have been part of your journey. As you move on to a new chapter of your life remember to use what you have learned to be a positive change agent in the world.
I would like to thank our teachers, office staff, educational assistants, and caretaking team for all their hard work, flexibility and continued dedication as we adjusted to the many changes this year. Thank you to our School Council, and Parkview families for creating a strong sense of community.
Thank you to the following staff for all the contributions they have to our school community over the years, as they leave Parkview for new opportunities next year: Ms. M Lee, Ms. Gatsos, Ms. Coutinho, Ms. McShane, Mr. Spano, Mr. Jo, Ms. Kruchak Ms. Kathuria Ms. Lakhani Ms. Meya. We would also like to wish Ms. Birtch all the best on her retirement; your dedication to the Parkview community will not be forgotten! Thank you!
