We hope our Parkview community was able to enjoy the sunshine and warmer temperatures this past weekend. Thank you to School Council for bringing Dr. Lin to Parkview to share Healthy Parenting Strategies with our Parkview parents!
Parkview continues to be a busy place this week. Monday and Wednesday, our Grade 7s will be visiting the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Also on Wednesday, our Junior students will be participating in the Battle of the Books Competition at Franklin Public School. Thursday, Junior students will be exploring Ripley’s Aquarium and on Friday our K-3 students will watch the Tribal Vision Presentation in the Parkview gym!
Reminder to families that if your child is attending a field trip, you must pack a lunch for your child. Hot lunches will be distributed at the end of the day for students who should be receiving lunches.
Just a friendly reminder – please do not let your child bring toys, loot bags, or outdoor equipment to school.
Afterschool, the school’s responsibility is to dismiss students home safely based on the dismissal information provided by parents/guardians. As the weather warms up, we would like to remind families that any afterschool plans with friends should be made once your child arrives home. This is to ensure student safety. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
September 2023: As we begin planning for next year, please inform the office if you are moving or if your child will be attending another school in September.

Every Student Counts Survey: Only one week left to fill out the Every Student Counts Survey! Students in Grades 4-12 are completing the survey out at school. Students in Grades K-3 are encouraged to complete it at home with their families. For more information go to – www.yrdsb.ca/escs
